Tyga

The validity of hip-hop as an art form has sometimes been debated since the genre came to prominence back in the ’80s. For detractors who view rap as being about just butts, bills, and buffoons, Tyga is the hat trick that legitimizes their arguments. His incompetence is sure to dwarf the accomplishments of Nas and Common to those unschooled by the power the medium. As evidenced in his hit single “Rack City,” all he does is ramble with zero grasp of melody atop sirens and snare drums. Of course there’s plenty of mention of how awesome he is on his latest album, Careless World: Rise of the Last King. And yes, he’s the one making these unfounded proclamations. With any luck, his 15 minutes will be winding down shortly.
