Artist Uncle's Brother

After parting ways with Saturday Night Live following a lengthy tenure there, Tim Meadows put his efforts into developing a burgeoning film career before finding steady work in sitcoms. The Bill Engvall Show surprisingly proved to be his most steady gig, though even before it was canceled the Michigan-born Meadows would repeatedly return to his roots by stealing away to Chicago to improvise at iO with Second City Mainstage’s Joe Canale and Brad Morris in a show called Uncle’s Brother. Meadows has since relocated to Chicago and has been known to draft other big names for the show, but its unstoppable silliness warrants buying a ticket regardless of the marquee value: Past shows have tangentially leaped into the values of a chicken-sausage dildo and the delight of being assassinated by a chocolate gun.
