Unrest

D.C. band Unrest started out in the '80s as a sludgy, funny punk group that really dug Kiss and Heathers. Then, in the '90s, it turned into a jangly, pretty indie-pop group that really dug Duran Duran and Heathers. It was then that they released two of the greatest indie albums of all time, 1992's Imperial F.F.R.R. and 1993's Perfect Teeth,before breaking up in 1994. Because no one stays dead these days, Unrest's last (and best) lineup has reunited for a tiny East Coast tour.
