We All Have Hooks For Hands
We All Have Hooks For Hands aren’t doing any sort of radical envelope-pushing, but there is something endearing about the stammering folk rock made by the South Dakota six-piece. The group’s sophomore release, The Shape Of Energy, carries the obvious pop influence of The Beach Boys, while falling in line with the contemporary gallop of Wolf Parade and the stomping vocals of Matt And Kim. Having been on the road for much of their youngish existence, We All Have Hooks For Hands keeps a fairly entertaining tour blog detailing every cat, swimming hole, and pretty girl they encounter while playing shows across America.
