Weekend Nachos

Hardcore punk-metal band Weekend Nachos attacks its instruments as though its end goal is to reduce everything around it to a pile of smoldering dust, then asphyxiate on the fumes. Over the course of its career, the quartet has evolved from carnage-ridden blast-beat dispensers to a much more finessed group emphasizing breakdown-heavy D-beat. On 2011’s Worthless, the band’s thorny guitar parts unravel and ring out with equal parts patience and aggression, making it the perfect soundtrack to thrashing about with absolute abandon.
