On this year’s Rare Forms, Woodsman embarks on an intense journey of swirling experimental sounds with some jazzy influences and a little bit of tribal drumming for good measure. The lush, psychedelic soundscapes and echo-laden vocals may not be for everyone, but that doesn’t make the music any less fascinating.
