Looking to spend your evening on a strange sonic sabbatical? Then you’ve come to the right place. On 2011’s Rare Forms LP and Mystic Places EP, Woodsman embarks on intense journeys of swirling experimental sounds with some jazzy influences and a little bit of tribal drumming for good measure. The lush, psychedelic soundscapes and echo-laden vocals may not be for everyone, but that doesn’t make the music any less fascinating.
