WTF With Marc Maron

Marc Maron came up in the New York club circuit with Louis C.K. and David Cross in the late ’80s and early ’90s, made regular appearances on Late Night With Conan O’Brien, and honed his aggressive rants to fall somewhere between Woody Allen’s self-deprecation and Lenny Bruce’s angry, confrontational stand-up. After seeing his third radio show cut loose, Maron drifted only briefly before finding a new home for his politically tinged, darkly acerbic rants on his acclaimed podcast, WTF With Marc Maron. His live WTF shows shy away from the often grim, catharsis-seeking conversations of his podcast, instead focusing on the infectious delight Maron takes in the rambunctious, larger-than-life personalities of his guests.
