Madison band Zebras put out a seven-song set called Parasitic Clones Under The Strong Arm Of The Robot Machine in 2009, and it just might be the sharpest, fullest-sounding introduction yet to Zebras' music--a frantic-yet-catchy collision of shrill, shrieked vocals, chromatic guitar and synth squiggles, and tightly syncopated drums to hold it all together. The band recently recorded a full-length to follow it up, and the new songs hold fast to the same abrasive attack, only making it more dark and metallic.
