Zoolander

Despite Zoolander’s superficial commentaries on the nature of celebrity and the ills of the fashion industry, the film is, at its heart, a supremely silly Ben Stiller comedy. Stiller stars as the titular male model, a witless man-child with one look (that goes by at least three different names) who’s unwittingly drafted into a high-fashion assassination plot. As the poofy-haired puppet master who washes what’s left of Stiller’s brain, Will Ferrell gets many of the script’s most-quotable quotables, but cowriter and director Stiller saved the best—including an uproarious tirade about a scale model—for himself.
