Justin Nozuka, Sam Bradley, and Elizabeth And The Catapult at Antone's

Justin Nozuka is one of those prodigious musicians whose youthful momentum may very well carry him into a lifelong career. The half-Japanese, half-English Canadian-American has been composing music since he was 12—and the oldest songs on his 2007 debut Holly were written when he was only 15. Youthful novelty aside, Nozuka has carved a niche for himself within the global indie-folk community after two years of frequent touring, and excited fans with a promised follow-up album. Elizabeth And The Catapult joins the bill with a homey kind of jazzy pop that captures the whimsy of childhood but avoids the pitfalls of twee-addled indie.
