Peter Bjorn And John and El Perro Del Mar at La Zona Rosa

Almost three years after “Young Folks” tore apart the airwaves (and the hearts of so many delicate boys and girls), we’re still waiting for some kind of follow-up from Peter Bjorn And John that’s anywhere near as catchy and delectable. That doesn’t mean the boys from Stockholm haven’t tried: The band’s newest album, Living Thing, boasts plenty of attempts, including the valiant, trance-inducing “Nothing To Worry About.” Opener El Perro Del Mar is the project of another Swede, Sarah Assbring, who whispers her pop songs and then adorns them with orchestral swoon. A recent album, Love Is Not Pop, is both very poppy and filled with songs about love and loss.
