Of Austin’s many buzz bands, they don’t get any buzzier than White Denim, whose wah-wah-soaked whirlwind of skuzzy garage-punk, Minutemen funk, and blistering blue-eyed soul led NME to declare it one of the few bands “making America cool again.” The trio has spent the past two years building on the positive response to its EPs, 7-inches, and the 2008 debut full-length, Exposion.
