Train and Uncle Kracker at La Zona Rosa
Contemporary adult-rock act Train broke the Billboard’s Top Ten with “Meet Virginia” off its 1999 self-titled debut album. More chart success followed with “Drops Of Jupiter,” “Calling All Angels,” and a handful of other hits, carrying Train all the way to this year’s release, Save Me San Francisco. Tourmate Uncle Kracker—whose sappy 2001 single, “Follow Me,” first brought him national attention—began his career behind the turntables under the care of fellow Michigan native Kid Rock, before moving on to the position of rapper and then eventually to radio-friendly crooner.
