Newswire Alice In Chains, Deftones, and Mastodon band together for autumn tour

It’s not exactly the strangest triple bill to be announced, but it’s certainly an interesting one: Dingy wah-wah enthusiasts Alice In Chains, art-metal quintet Mastodon, and nu-metal favorites Deftones are all teaming up for a month-long national tour. They’ll kick things off Sept. 16 at Chicago’s Charter One Pavilion before winding across the country and Canada, culminating in a final Las Vegas show on Oct. 16. Tickets go on sale May 15 via livenation.com, and more dates are forthcoming, according to the release. Currently, here’s what the tour looks like:
