We did it! And here are the pictures to prove it. The inaugural A.V. Fest is behind us, and we’d like to thank you all sincerely for showing up. We’d also like to thank all of the bands, who were uniformly excellent. And the fine folks at the Hideout for helping us get our shit together. And Pete and Pete from Empty Bottle, who helped book and stage manage, respectively. And all the Onion and A.V. Clubbers who helped out, from designing those cool banners to manning the front gate. And oh my lord the volunteers, who were cheerful and awesome in spite of our first-year disorganization and anal-retentive tendency to overstaff. And the food trucks! Muy delicious. And to Mother Nature or whoever for that amazing weather, both days. And of course to the festival’s sponsors. And, once again, you: Festivals are tricky animals, and a mellow, well-behaved audience that’s there to enjoy themselves makes everything else so much easier. See you next year!
