Beastie Boys cancel Lollapalooza and after-show

The Beastie Boys have canceled all of their upcoming tour dates, including their appearances at Lollapalooza and the after-show at the Congress Theater. Adam Yauch (better known as MCA) was diagnosed last week with a cancerous tumor in his left salivary gland. According to the press release, the tumor is "very treatable" and "is not in a location that will affect Yauch's vocal chords." Upcoming album Hot Sauce Committee Part 1's release has also been pushed back. Lollapalooza media representative Brittany Pearce told Decider that they're currently working on booking a replacement for The Beastie Boys' time slot.
