Black Keys announce 2012 North American tour with Arctic Monkeys
More Just Announced
Following a string of European shows in early 2012, Black Keys have announced a spate of North American tour dates in March. The tour, in support of their latest, El Camino (which drops next Tuesday and which was promoted with that nifty Bob Odenkirk video), will see the pride of Akron bring their stripped down arena-rock stylings to hockey rinks and convention centers across the U.S. and Canada, with support from England’s post-indie psych-rockers Arctic Monkeys, says Pitchfork. Anyone slavering to get a taste of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney’s bluesy, intimate two-man show in the confines of a 20,000-seat venue has something to look forward to going into 2012. Black Keys and Arctic Monkeys will be in Chicago on Mar. 19, with a stop at the United Center.
