Bruce Springsteen to perform Born To Run at United Center Sept. 20
Although The Boss is touring this fall in support of last January's Working On A Dream, Chicago fans who attend the gig Sept. 20 at United Center will be treated with a blast from the past: Bruce Springsteen will perform his seminal 1975 album Born To Run in its entirety. The album was the man's third (Working On A Dream is his 16th), but it's considered one of the finest pieces of work he's ever done; the title track is a staple of classic-rock radio, along with other album hits "Thunder Road," "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out," and "Jungleland."
