Buddy Guy relocates blues club Legends “soon”

As reported last year, Buddy Guy’s Legends was due to get an upgrade and a new address in 2010. Well, it’s 2010, and sure enough, the Tribune is reporting that Legends is getting a “lavish improvement” from its current location when it moves a few doors south to 700 S. Wabash Ave., and will announce an opening date shortly after its official city inspection on Tuesday. Presumably it’ll be open in time for the summer blues festival season, including Blues Fest in Grant Park on June 11-13 and Eric Clapton’s Crossroads at Toyota Park in Bridgeview on June 26.
