Newswire Catch The A.V. Club’s Tasha Robinson talking film at tonight’s Chicago Live!

Tonight, Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m., the Chicago Tribune treats movie mavens to an overwhelming array of experts in all genres of film for a quintessential evening of geeky-ness.

This month’s Chicago Live! loads the Chicago Theatre with a dream line-up of stars. A roundtable of critics, including Michael Phillips, Ben Kenigsberg, and The A.V. Club’s own Tasha Robinson break down the best and worst films of 2011. Rick Kogan interviews Chicago’s own John Mahoney, Facets’ Milos Stehlik, and horror god Svengoolie, along with Andrew Bird: Fever Year director Xan Aranda.
In case all this film jibber jabber gets too awesome, Second City brings some laughs, and musical guests Kids These Days bring some jams.

The best part is that this wall-to-wall geek heaven is only $20, and half off when you use the code “LIVE” at Ticketmaster or at the box office.
