“Chicago Sounds In The ’80s: Underground Incubator”
Chris Connelly
More Just Announced
Dealing with a void left by the long-gone 1980s? An underground music lover? The Museum Of Contemporary Art has the antidote. As part of Chicago Public Media’s ongoing Off-Air Event Series, legends from three integral movements in the underground music movement will sit down for a round-table discussion March 6.
“Chicago Sounds In The ’80s: Underground Incubator” promises to whet whistles dried out by the current state of house, industrial, and indie-punk jams. Relive a better time with in music Chris Connelly (Ministry, Revolting Cocks), “The Godfather of House” DJ Frankie Knuckles, and Santiago Durango (Naked Raygun, Big Black).
