Chick-Fil-A comes to roost in Aurora
If you've traveled outside Illinois recently, you might have seen the Chick-Fil-A billboards covered with cows attempting to save their beefy hides by promoting the merits of chicken. Those ads could soon pop up in Aurora, as Chick-Fil-A plans to open its first Chicago-area location next to the Westfield Fox Valley Shopping Center, reports Crain's. Calls to Chick-Fil-A were not immediately returned.
Besides bovine ad men, Chick-Fil-A is known for its fresh lemonade, chicken-based fast food, and odd hiring practices. (The chain is known for being a bit overzealous in its desire to find married employees with Christian ethics.) Still, in a city with about 500 McDonald's, a little variety can't hurt, and there are no commandments against fried deliciousness.
