HOLIDAY SALE AT THE ONION STORE

Chris Ware, Ivan Brunetti, and more host free Block Museum discussion on graphic novels tomorrow

Chris Ware Some of Chris Ware's handiwork.

If last weekend’s Free Comic Book Day and last month’s C2E2 didn’t sate your graphic-novel appetite, tomorrow night gives you yet another chance: Graphic novelists Chris Ware, Jeffrey Brown, Ivan Brunetti, and Anders Nilsen will have a Q&A session moderated by New City contributor Ray Pride on how graphic novels have “impacted the literary world.” Seeing how inescapable Iron Man 2 and its corresponding Internet speculation have been, it’ll be a nice respite to look back at graphic novels' roots from some of the people most qualified to do so. It all goes down tomorrow night at Evanston’s Block Museum at 6:30 p.m.—don’t forget to ask Ware what was up with that recently rejected Fortune cover.
