The King Khan And BBQ Show plow into Logan Square Auditorium with its frenetic, rackety live show. The Montreal duo mixes R&B with garage rock grooves while spouting hilariously sleazy lyrics. Over at Subterranean, Virginia thrash band Municipal Waste summons the sounds of mid-’80s metal and hardcore, ripping through awesomely titled tantrums like "Horny For Blood," "Wolves Of Chernobyl," and "The Wrath Of The Severed Head." Elsewhere, Jim Henson and Frank Oz's unforgettable live-action fantasy adventure The Dark Crystal plays at the Siskel Center. While Dark Crystal remains one of the puppeteering duo's darker films, we're still betting good triumphs over evil—unlike the Municipal Waste show.
