Mayne Stage is rolling out its red carpet for a whole slew of comedians starting in June and continuing on to November. To purchase tickets for any of these acts, go to TicketWeb.

Stand-up comedian Doug Benson will kick off the season with The Benson Interruption on June 9 and a live recording of his podcast, Doug Loves Movies, on June 10 at Mayne Stage. Expect surprise guests for both performances.

Another stand-up comedian, Marc Maron, will follow up Benson’s acts. His jokes have taken him from HBO, Conan, Letterman, his Comedy Central Presents specials, to his podcast WTF with Marc Maron. He has three days of performances: August 4 at 8 p.m. and August 5-6 at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Reggie Watts’ original style apparently doesn’t just apply to his unruly hair-do. Reggie’s opened for Conan O’Brien’s “Prohibited From Being Funny On Television” tour. His shows are August 12-13 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Actor and comedian Hal Sparks, hailing from well-known Second City, returns to Chicago for a three-day marathon of performances. After working as a commentator of VH1 series I Love The 90’s, I Love The 80’s, The 80’s Strike Back, I Love The 70’s, and I Love the New Millennium, he’s back for some classic stand-up routines. Sparks will be performing October 6 at 8 p.m. and October 7-8 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Kevin McDonald and Scott Thompson, members of the Canadian sketch comedy TV show Kids In The Hall, return to the states for the debut of their two-man show. The shows are on October 20 at 8 p.m. and October 21-22 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Actress and comedian Maria Bamford will return to Mayne Stage after a successful, sold-out show in December. Bamford was voted as one of the top 10 comics to watch by Variety and Comedy Central. She will perform on November 18-19 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
