Eat Rick Bayless' chicken and his little pig, too

Gunthorp Farms, that happy place where chickens live before they're cooked by the likes of Rick Bayless and other Chicago chefs who support sustainable farming, has announced a CSA (community supported agriculture) program for Chicago residents. The deal is such: Opt in monthly for about 10 pounds of chicken, pork, or half-and-half for $35, then pick it up at the yet-to-be announced Chicago drop-off location. Once you've got the base order in, you can "add on" anything from the following list. Just contact Jamie Staton to get started; the first delivery is slated for April, assuming enough people sign up.
