Gauge playing secret show tonight at Ronny's
Chicago post-hardcore band Gauge—dormant for 16 years—recently surprised everyone with announcements of a pair of reunion shows, one in Milwaukee and another at the Bottom Lounge Saturday night, but the surprises keep coming: Bassist Neil Sandler tells The A.V. Club the band will play a secret show tonight at Ronny's with Cougars. (Reuniting at one of Chicago's most low-rent clubs seems somehow fitting.) The show starts at 8 p.m.
And the hits keep coming: Everyone who comes to the show Saturday night will get a copy of a 7-inch with new Gauge songs on it. The '90s are back, baby!
