Halloween benefit concert for Scotland Yard Gospel Choir announced
As we reported a couple of weeks ago, Scotland Yard Gospel Choir was involved in a van accident in September. As a result, two band members remain in the hospital, and the band has lost most of its gear. The members already have a link up for donations, but they have now scheduled a benefit concert to further help cover medical bills and equipment replacement. The concert, at Subterranean on Halloween, will feature some of the Scotland Yard Gospel Choir members, as well as local bands Canasta and the Avondale Ramblers. Cover is just $10 and proceeds go to support the band.
