Hang out with Hollows at Margie’s Candies in this new video

As reported earlier this week, Noisey’s documentary series on local music already gave a shout-out to Chicago with its The Black Lips and Mannequin Men pairing. And now the site is at it again, with an installment featuring another hometown favorite, Hollows.
Described by The Black Lips as possessing “a fire in them,” the band produces melodic harmonies that have racked up an impressive following. When Hollows aren’t opening for She & Him at Millennium Park or covering obscure girl groups, these gals and guy can be spotted hangin’ around the West Side. Pit stops include their practice space in Garfield Park, Margie’s Candies, Permanent Records, Alcala’s, and a performance at the Viaduct Theater.
