Hey Chicago, remember: Doug Loves Movies is next week at Zanies
If you like comedian Doug Benson, and you like movies, then it is your obligation to listen to his highly enjoyable weekly podcast Doug Loves Movies. Unless you live in LA, though, you're pretty much screwed if you want to attend a taping.
Well, here's a reminder that The A.V. Club is hosting a live recording of the podcast next Monday, Oct. 4, at Zanies. Doug asks that we keep the final lineup of guests under wraps, but we can tell you that head writer Nathan Rabin will appear at one point, kind of like a celebrity pal showing up to sing carols on schmaltzy holiday TV special. He'll talk about his upcoming My Year Of Flops book, which you should probably preorder now.
A bunch of other A.V. Club folks will be there too, so we hope you'll come. It's going to be a good time. Just remember, only one person can say Todd Stroger's a shithead at the end of the night.
