Jeff Garlin returning to Chicago for his stand-up show, No Sugar Tonight
Lately, Jeff Garlin has primarily entered the world of comedy (and comedy-consumers) through his involvement with HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, as an executive producer and as an actor. But Garlin will be returning to his stand-up comedy roots, and especially his Second City roots, by performing in No Sugar Tonight: An Evening of Stand-Up Comedy at Steppenwolf July 13-24. Tickets will be available starting April 29 on the venue’s site.
In No Sugar Tonight, Garlin will be exploring his addiction to sugar—a dietary theme that jibes with that of his latest book, My Footprint: Carrying The Weight Of The World. Here’s to hoping the night won’t end with a Debbie Downer-style message about getting in shape and saving the world.
