Newswire Lambchop—the band, not the puppet—to tour behind new record, Mr. M

Like Shari Lewis’ hand puppet, the eponymous band Lambchop has been beloved by fans for years. Unlike the perpetually 6-year-old lamb, however, Kurt Wagner’s project has fewer prepubescent fans and a lot less angsty toddler bleating. The Nashville, Tennessee-based collective has announced a tour to support the upcoming release of its first album in four years, Mr. M. Dripping with dreamy, string-driven melodies, Mr. M is slated to waltz into record stores Feb. 21.
