Local Newswire Lincoln Square Winter Brew bringing hoppy-ness to the North Side Jan. 28

Because there can never be too many beer-related events in this world, we’re pleased to announce yet another beer festival set to happen in Chicago. The inaugural Lincoln Square Winter Brew will bring local hoppy-ness to the North Side Jan. 28. Centering on local breweries, the festival will showcase the craft beverages of five stellar local brew houses that have brought pride and plenty of award-winning brews to our fair city. Half Acre, Metropolitan, 5 Rabbit, Finch’s, and Revolution Brewing are all set to participate in the fest at Dank Haus. Chicago’s first legal distillery, Koval, will also be on hand to mix cocktails made with its locally distilled whiskeys. For the hands-on folk, entries for the festival’s home brew competition are being accepted through Jan. 15.

Entry to the festival is $10, and drink and food tickets cost extra. Purchase tickets in advance online to skip the lines and warm those bones the old-fashioned way.
