Lollapalooza 2010 lineup… probably?
Since plain-out announcing the Lollapalooza lineup of bands would be too damn boring, the summer festival has instead decided to dole out that information in the most “fun” way imaginable: Wheel Of Fortune-style, with all the bands being a series of blank slots. So far, only the O’s have been revealed, but that’s been enough for our crossword-puzzle loving contemporaries over at Time Out Chicago to venture a series of probably-right guesses:
“Social Distortion, MGMT, Hot Chip, the National, Spoon, Devo, Grizzly Bear, the New Pornographers, Slightly Stoopid, Gogol Bordello, Chromeo, Wolfmother, Yeasayer, X Japan, Dirty Projectors, Matt & Kim, the xx, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Temper Trap, Frightened Rabbit, Fuck Buttons, Blitzen Trapper, Mumford & Sons, Rogue Wave, the Dodos, Hockey, the Constellations, the Soft Pack”
As previously reported, the rumored headliners are still Green Day, Phoenix, Lady Gaga, Soundgarden, Arcade Fire, The Strokes, and the rest of the lineup will officially be revealed come Monday. Until then, check for yourself over at Lolla’s official page, but vowels will cost you extra.
