Lupe, Common, and JHud produce a new Chicago anthem

Gatorade REPLAY, a show on FSN, assembled a crack team of Chicago-born musicians to crank out a theme song for its newest season. “We Can Do It Now” is the name of the jam, and it features Lupe Fiasco, Common, Jennifer Hudson, and producer No I.D. It’s kind of rocking, honestly. Pick it up as a free download on the REPLAY site.

The premise of Gatorade REPLAY is surprisingly interesting. The show selects high school sports games that ended in controversy years ago and allows the players a chance to redeem themselves on cable television, no matter how middle-aged they may be.

The upcoming third season of REPLAY will feature a rematch of the 2000 playoff game between two Chicago basketball teams, Brother Rice and Bloom Township (hence the all-star team of Chicago musicians).
