Maynard James Keenan’s Puscifer heads out on tour
What kind of man wears jewelry? A saucy one, apparently.
As 2009 has proven, Puscifer is not just that fictional band Tool’s Maynard James Keenan fronted in an episode of Mr. Show—it’s an inescapable reality now. Although it technically has existed for more than a decade, Puscifer has made the leap to becoming a full-on band with its first live shows earlier this year around Valentine’s Day. Of course, Puscifer also released its debut, "V" Is For Vagina, in 2007 and followed that up earlier this year with the "C" Is For (Please Insert Sophomoric Genitalia Reference HERE) EP, but bringing the shtick out in front of a live audience is another thing altogether. To prove he’s still serious, Keenan is promising to bring his noisy “special sauce” on an East Coast and Midwest tour kicking off in early March 2010. (It arrives at the Vic March 26-27.)
