This week’s hump-day features a rare chance to taste local craft-distilled spirits at the “Meet Your Chicago Distillers Night,” being held at Wicker Park’s café-bar, Jerry’s Sandwiches. On Wednesday, Feb. 8, a specialty cocktail and sampling of spirits will offered for $10.
Among the liquors to be sampled are those from distillers Koval, North Shore Distillery, Few Spirits, and the Journeyman Distillery. To accompany this fancy boozing will be the tunes of a surprise guest DJ. The event runs from 7-10 p.m., though it will surely spill over to the streets if the liquor does its job.
