More Just Announced
Two summers ago, Bloodshot Records had a similar party celebrating their fifteenth anniversary, and the performances from that show were recorded and released this past April in conjunction with Record Store Day. So now, for Bloodshot's 17th anniversary, they're having a shindig celebrating the release of that record which showcases the label's first fifteen years in the music business. And it all goes down at the Hideout on Friday, September 9 (the night before our own little party at the Hideout). Whew. While the math may be a little confusing, the line-up isn't. Waco Brothers, The Scotland Yard Gospel Choir, Danny Black & Nora O'Connor, and Deadstring Brothers are all confirmed to reprise their appearances from the earlier celebration. The mix of roots rock and indie pop is sure to be appealing, and they even promise food and drink specials for the party. Tickets are only $10 and go on sale Friday.
