This is random but delicious-looking news: Numero Group, the Chicago-based soul and funk label, posted on its blog today about a 1-pound (!!) Snickers bar it was gifted from one of its fans, who is a food scientist at the Mars Corporation. The bar was “hand-made at the company’s Las Vegas facility, who makes all of Mars’ tricked-out, and otherwise limited-edition candies,” and it basically looks like a huge brick of Snickers. The Numero staffers split it eight ways, but not before taking some awesome pictures of it, including a sweet cross section.
