Pelican streams new album on MySpace
Pelican
You’re starting to run out of excuses not to have heard Pelican’s fourth album, What We All Come To Need. Sure, it’s officially out next week, but the instrumental-rock band held a listening party for it at Reckless Records last Friday—before Kuma’s Corner (2900 W. Belmont Ave., 773-604-8769) unveiled its new burger in their honor—and today the revelry continues on the local band’s MySpace, which is now streaming the album for free. It might not cost anything, a press release warns, but “there will be a price to pay—your soul!” Scary.
