Pitchfork Music Festival announces 2009 dates
Here's a safe bet: It's gonna be hot as shit, whenever it is
Pitchfork announced the dates for the fourth annual Pitchfork Music Festival this morning: Friday, July 17 to Sunday, July 19 at its usual stomping grounds, Union Park. Tickets go on sale March 13, but there's no word yet on who will be playing the fest this year. Considering it almost always sells out, you may be better off buying tickets even if you don't know who's playing.
The festival draws about 45,000 people to the cozy confines of the West Loop park, and an unspecified number of ironic T-shirts.
