Q101's Kevin Manno to host The Seven, a new teen talk show on MTV, starting Sept. 27
The Seven sounds suspiciously like The Ten
Kevin Manno and Kiefer Sutherland, just hanging out.
Word's been out for a bit regarding Q101 DJ Kevin Manno's departure to the Big Apple. Manno tweeted that it was to work on a daytime show, but wasn't allowed to give any further details.
Today, more details have leaked. The Hollywood Reporter, uh, reports that MTV's breaking back into live afternoon entertainment TRL-style with The Seven, a “half-hour show [that] presents seven stories that MTV viewers need to know, from Hollywood news, music, sex and fashion to other topics.” The show will air at 5 p.m., feature live performances, and will be co-hosted by Manno and Julie Alexandria, the host of New York’s Mets Weekly.
Manno's brother, Ryan, has been in New York recently as well. Apparently taking a break from all that JBTV hosting, he shared a box at the U.S. Open with Pete Wentz and an “enthusiastic” Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. Live it up, bros.
