Bob Odenkirk (a Second City alumnus), Louis CK, Jimmy Fallon, Ellen DeGeneres, and Andy Dick are among the bigger names slated for TBS' and Just For Laughs' inaugural Chicago iteration of the "A Very Funny Festival"—a week-long event from June 17 to 21 that will see some 100 comedians perform in just five days. George Lopez, Bill Engvall, Lisa Lampanelli, David Alan Grier, Russell Peters, and Jim Jefferies are also expected to perform. Grier and DeGeneres will both film specials that will air on TBS in June.
Though not all the details have been released, another show, dubbed "Homecoming," is slated for June 17 and 18 at the Lincoln Lodge, where local comedy expats will once again grace their old stomping grounds.
