Just Announced Team Coco back in Chicago on June 17 for Just For Laughs

Andy Richter Conan O'Brien TBS Just For Laughs Andy Richter is now one step closer to controlling the universe.

Less than a week after Conan O’Brien showed the people of Chicago that he doesn’t have an ass, his sidekick Andy Richter, show-opener Reggie Watts, and several Tonight Show writers have announced they’ll be performing at the Bank of America Theater on June 17 as part of the Just For Laughs Festival. The show will be taped for a one-hour special to be aired on TBS on June 27 at 10 p.m., and is very tentatively being called Team Coco Presents Conan’s Writers Live. Catchy.

Before you scoff and cry foul of Conan’s entourage cashing in on the newfound attention: Don’t. O’Brien brought out sweater-vest-clad writer Deon Cole last week to do some stand-up, and it was easily one of the show’s highlights. Tickets for the show go on sale May 28 at 10 a.m. Speaking of which, there are still plenty of tickets available for Max Weinberg’s June 21 show at Evanston SPACE. Between all this and O’Brien’s daily Twitter updates, it’s like they never got wrongfully kicked off TV in the first place!
