Tomorrow night, PBS is airing a very special Sesame Street about the economy titled "Families Stand Together: Feeling Secure In Tough Times," wherein noted tickle-lover Elmo and his family is forced to deal with the repercussions of his mom unexpectedly losing her job. While much has been written about the human economy's dire straits, not much if any coverage has been lent towards examining the puppet sector of the economy or its current climate. The A.V. Club hopped into our news van and enlisted local-access phenomenon Chic-A-Go-Go's Ratso to get some answers to the tough questions about how bad puppets really have it right now.
