The Fiery Furnaces' Eleanor Friedberger playing in-store at Saki July 21
In support of her upcoming record release, Eleanor Friedberger is hitting the road with a couple of intimate performances in Chicago along the way. Apart from her duties as one half of the sibling duo The Fiery Furnaces, Friedberger has signed a solo deal with Merge Records. Contrary to its title, her debut album, Last Summer, will be released this summer—in fact, tomorrow, July 12.
Saki is teaming up with Friedberger and curating two opportunities to catch the Chicagoland native in action. First, the record store is offering guest-list entrance to her performance at The Hideout on July 20 for anyone who picks up a copy of the album. The following day, Friedberger will play an in-store at Saki at 6 p.m.
