The Lawrence Arms to hold benefit for Bucktown mugging victims

In a blog post yesterday, The Lawrence Arms frontman Brendan Kelly mentioned he was pulling together a benefit show for the Wicker Park mugging victims. And now, sure enough, Subterranean just updated its site to include a listing on May 19. The local punk trio will be joined for the 17+ show by Dead To Me; tickets are $12 and available now. All proceeds will go to the victims. As Kelly says, “Lawrence Arms is doing a benefit for the girls that got hit with bats and you all should come.”
