Celebrate 15 years of handcrafted beer at the Three Floyds 15th Anniversary Party this Saturday, Nov. 12. Tickets to the daylong beer fest cost $25, are only available for those 21 and older, and – unfortunately – are already sold out.
The event will feature craft beers from one of the Chicago area’s favorite local brewing companies. As part of the celebration, the Melvins will play a set, along with bands Municipal Waste, Sweet Cobra, Young Widows, and Gorch Fock.
If you don’t have a car (or nice, sober beer-loving friends who drive), a glimmer of hope remains. A free shuttle bus will be available from Reggie’s in Chicago. The first bus leaves at noon, and others will run all day long. Reggie’s will open at 10 a.m. to give Chicagoans an early start on Three Floyds consumption.
Three Floyds, located in Munster, Indiana, has been in business since 1996, and the company’s beers are now carried by about 30 stores, bars, and restaurants in Chicago. The brewery has become renowned for its annual sellout Dark Lord Day, the one day a year where Three Floyds’ rarest beer, the Dark Lord Imperial Stout, can be purchased by fans.
