Familial dysfunction: There’s nothing funnier—at least when it comes to the
Fowlers. The fictional family from a small Southern town is responsible for a weekly radio program—which includes songs, games, and old-timey serials—and the audience is privy to all the behind-the-scenes bickering. Watching brother-in-law Taylor Hickok—the most forcibly closeted person on the planet—“secretly” grind up on the youngest, twentysomething Rick, is reason enough to attend.
Lola Balatro rounds out the bill with satirical acoustic power ballads.
