When crappy weather is still muddying up the ground and fogging up the air, it’s hard to believe that Wicker Park Fest is already gearing up for the summer with its eclectic lineup of bands. But it’s true; the annual summer festival announced a bill that includes local and not-so-local bands like Wavves, Wild Flag, Ana Sia, Joe Pug, Flosstradamus, California Wives, and Blitzen Trapper.
However, the list is only a taste of what the two-day festival will bring, running from noon to 10 p.m., July 23-24 on Milwaukee Avenue (between North Avenue and Wood Street). More additions to the lineup are due later this spring.
